We met online and hit it off right away. Marisa was a horse girl looking for a handyman; Ian was a contractor teasing that he’d found his cowgirl. Our first date was lunch over small plates and drinks, which turned into a long walk downtown and a stop at a wine bar — we kept talking until we finally said our goodbyes. Marisa still couldn’t stop thinking about Ian; after a concert she called him for a nightcap. He came, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Over the next months we fell deeper in love through concerts, adventures, travel, food, and late-night conversations, and we both knew we’d found our person. In classic Ian fashion, he took Marisa on her first multi-day backpacking trip and proposed at sunset at 10,000 feet. We chose an intimate wedding on September 8, 2025, at a ranch in San Miguel, and now we’re building the life of our dreams. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Templeton on June 27, 2026.
